For us, each bottle is a small piece of art elaborated with passion and precision for over two years and intended to provoke pleasure and happiness to the ones who drink it. It is a modest work of art because it is ephemeral, destined for enjoyment before its disappearance. We have chosen the name "Sao" because it is a word with special sonorous qualities, intricately linked to the soil, and that in Catalan means "maturity, perfection, and optimally fertile earth". The foliage patterns that appear on our bottles try to convey a similar philosophy. We put our utmost effort into creating a product of the highest quality, with an elegant and original design, that transmits the passion we feel for our land as well as a steady and meticulous work ethic.

You have inside you the strength that makes the world go round. You are, in essence, pure life.

Tasting Note Intense cherry red colours. A well blended aroma of mature red fruits with highlights of spices (vanilla, cinnamon, a touch of black pepper, etc). On the pallet we find a soft yet structured wine, durable and warm.

Grape Varieties 40% Tempranillo, 35% black Grenache, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Merlot.

Fermentation 28ºC - 30ºC / 20 day maceration.

Aging 12 months in new French oak barrels (42%) and American (58%) medium and light toasted

Alcohol 14.5%

Production 11.336 bottles

Serving Temperature 16ºC - 18ºC.

Tasting Note Intense and vivid red colour with blue elements. Complex aroma, elegant and mature with highlights of red and black fruits accompanied by a blend of balsamic and aniseed flavours that provide a distinct freshness. Soft yet potent on the pallet, consistent and elegant with an emergence of forest fruits and sweet spices. Velvety and fresh tannins.
