Rare books, art books, original children’s books, limited edition books … Up to thirty illustrated literary works selected and contributed by the Juneda’s library Joan Duch will be exhibited in the cellar Mas Blanch i Jov\u00e9 during all the month of February. This exhibition is part of the action “Biblioteques amb DO, Lletres i Vins 2018”, whose objective is to revitalize the public libraries of Catalonia through the wine culture.<\/p>\n
For this reason, Mas Blanch i Jov\u00e9 winery and the library Joan Duch have scheduled a series of activities for this month of February.<\/p>\n
On February 9th at the Joan Duch Library there will be a wine and opera pairing led by David Puertas and the Mas Blanch i Jov\u00e9 winery with an original vertical tasting (different vintages of the same wine) of Sa\u00f3 Blanc and Sa\u00f3 Abrivat.<\/p>\n
And on February 24th at 11 am at Mas Blanch i Jov\u00e9 winery there will be a guided tour, a tasting of wines, oils, breads and chocolates with a musical surprise by Cassigalls.<\/p>\n
These actions aim to highlight the role of libraries as cultural promoters and encourage collaboration between library services and environmental agents based on the basis that culture and wine both reflect territory.
