GREAT GOLD MEDAL FOR SAÓ EXPRESSIU 2015 IN THE CATAVINUM WORLD WINE AWARDS
– In this edition of the Catavinum World Wine Awards, 3,457 references from 26 countries have been tasted
– The Mas Blanch i Jové winery has obtained 1 Great Gold Medal, 6 Gold Medals and 1 Silver Medal
All 8 wines from the Mas Blanch i Jové winery have been awarded at the Catavinum World Wine Awards. A contest that in this 2021 edition has blind tasted 3457 references from 26 different countries and only 82 wines have obtained a score of 95 to 100 points (Great Gold Medal) and 456 have obtained a score of 90 to 94 points (Medal of Gold) .
Specifically, the Saó Rosat 2019 wine has obtained a Silver Medal with 88 points and the Saó Blanc 2019, the Troballa Blanca 2019, the Petit Saó 2018, the Saó Abrivat 2018, the Troballa Negra 2018 have obtained a Gold Medal (90-94 points). Finally, the Saó Expressiu 2015 has obtained the Great Gold Medal.
These awards are in addition to others that the winery has already obtained both nationally and internationally. Both the Wine Advocate of the prestigious North American critic Robert Parker, the Wine Enthusiast magazine, the Vinous publication, as well as the Catalan Wine Guide and the Peñín Guide, have highlighted the high quality of Mas Blanch I Jové wines. Likewise, they have also recently been winners of awards in other prestigious competitions such as the English Decanter World Wine Awards, the Concours Mondiel de Bruxelles in Belgium or the Vinari awards in Catalonia.
