Photo exhibition GERARD CADEVALL DANIEL “1,2,3…”:
There are still people who write letters. And fortunately for us, Gerard Cadevall writes letters. But in his case, he does so through the camera. That is why his photographs, delicate images of magnetic and sincere beauty, show a profound and absolute admiration for nature and its charms. Hypnotic magic that is accompanied by colors, nuances, and a reflection on the passage of time, happiness, the uncomfortable acceleration of society, and also death.
And following this latter concept, “1, 2, 3…” starts from the absence of the artist’s mother to erect a heartfelt and enduring tribute through art. Thus, the exhibition can be understood as a series of pure love letters to a mother who revives in a vitalistic, cheerful, and splendid manner through the detailed and enchanted observation of the landscape. A romantic and constant search for a light that has the tangible will to be very present in all the fragments of dreams that Gerard Cadevall shows us.
His gaze, like a brush, like the hands of a writer, is the most faithful candle, the most intense heart, to continue trusting in an artistic work and its ability to represent those who are no longer here, but who will always be.
Concert INVISIBLE HARVEY:
“Invisible Harvey” is a fun film starring actor James Stewart, where a lovable character walks around with a giant rabbit that only he can see. However, for some years now, it has also been the refuge of screenwriter and musician Dimas Rodríguez Gallego. A pop project with the warm support of luxury musicians who add magic to each and every one of his songs. In January 2016, he released his first LP with this house, called “La puerta giratoria”, an album of stories that mix humor, a romantic drive, and unusual characters. The work received excellent reviews and he was able to present it on various stages. During 2017, he prepared the songs for what would be his new album, a work called “No es justo que llegues ahora”, also produced by Cristian Pallejà and Ferran Resines (as well as his debut album). In 2022, he released his third work, «Titulador de canciones», which he will present -in trio format- at Mas Blanch i Jové winery in La Pobla de Cérvoles (Lleida).
