The Artists’ Vineyard opens 2026 with a new photography exhibition at Mas Blanch i Jové Winery
Mas Blanch i Jové Winery begins 2026 with a new cultural proposal at The Artists’ Vineyard, a unique space where contemporary art, landscape and wine culture naturally come together in the heart of the Les Garrigues region. On Saturday, January 31st, 2026, the winery opens the season with a free cultural event combining photography, art and a tasting of emblematic wines.
This event also marks the beginning of the winery’s 20th anniversary celebrations, which will unfold throughout the year with a programme of activities linked to art, territory and wine.
Photography exhibitions at The Artists’ Vineyard
The programme will begin at 11.00 am with the presentation of the temporary exhibition Katarsi by artist Alba E. Peligero. The exhibition, shown at The Artists’ Vineyard over recent months, explores emotional processes and transformation through visual language.
At 12.00 pm, the new photography exhibition Feathers, Talons and Beaks: A Photographic Vision of the Birds of Prey of Les Garrigues by photographer Antonio Segura will be officially opened. The exhibition offers a deep and respectful look at the birds of prey that inhabit the region, highlighting the natural richness of Les Garrigues and the close relationship between nature and the agricultural landscape.
Trained as an internal medicine physician, Antonio Segura has developed his professional career in leading hospitals while maintaining a long-standing commitment to nature photography. After years dedicated to underwater photography, he now focuses his work on bird photography, with special attention to birds of prey found in Catalonia and, in particular, in the Les Garrigues area.
Wine and organic olive oil tasting
The event will conclude with a vertical tasting of Saó Abrivat, one of the winery’s most emblematic wines, featuring the 2009, 2018 and 2022 vintages. The 2022 vintage was awarded Best Wine in Spain 2025, reinforcing Mas Blanch i Jové’s position within the Spanish wine scene.
The tasting will be accompanied by traditional country bread, chocolate, and a selection of Òlim organic extra virgin olive oils, produced at the winery’s own mill, further strengthening the connection between wine, olive oil and territory.
Art, wine and landscape in Les Garrigues
With this initiative, Mas Blanch i Jové reaffirms its commitment to contemporary creation, sustainability, mountain landscapes and wine culture, consolidating The Artists’ Vineyard as a cultural landmark in Les Garrigues, where art is organically integrated into the vineyard and its natural surroundings.
