A performance, tribute to Iago Pericot, great Catalan theater agitator, which will end with the inauguration at The Artists’ Vineyards of The Guillotine. The Guillotine premiered at the Greek Festival in 2014 and the public was able to enjoy a catharsis of collective liberation, joyful and thoughtful at the same time. A proposal that invited us to look inside ourselves to identify who or what was causing us the most uneasiness and torment and that the artifact freed us from it. And now, this brilliant idea by Iago Pericot, an unclassifiable, provocative and unique creator, is being moved to La Pobla de Cérvoles to be part of this unique space located in Les Garrigues altes.
The incorporation of this work in La Vinya dels Artistes is also an excuse to pay an intimate tribute to its creator. Friends and collaborators of Iago Pericot will create a theatrical itinerary as a way of viacrucis sui generis: rites in form, irreverence in substance; and where, in each stop, we will find references of his artistic and personal legacy.
A fun, provocative and irreverent tribute, open to everyone and totally outdoors that will inaugurate the summer artistic season in Mas Blanch i Jové winery. The event will be paired with two wines from the winery.
